The Lost Gardens of Heligan

Not far from one of my favourite little places in Cornwall, Mevagissey, there's the Lost Gardens of Heligan. We finally got to visit this year and I loved the place. They also had an exhibition remembering the Somme, as 13 of the gardeners of the Heligan Estate went to fight, but only 4 returned.

Holiday time!

Up at 3am, to leave at 4am and drive down to Newquay. Just had a super brunch at Lakeside with family and now taking a little stroll around Trenance Gardens in the sunshine.

The clouds soon return! Discovering a new site right on our doorstep - Cubert Common and Polly Joke beach.

The change in weather doesn't stop the cows heading to the beach for a sunbathe!

Yep, it's that time of year again where I see a holiday in my sights - and lots of lovely spare time - and I immediately get thinking about how I can improve my website!

So that will be a total redesign then hahaha! No, just kidding - I do have some new things to launch, but I'm not planning to revamp my whole layout.
